I took the photo that inspired this painting in Death Valley National Park, California. This particular scene shows Salt Creek, home of the rare Desert Pupfish, and the surrounding badlands. I loved the otherworldly colors in the salty badlands. You can read about my time at Death Valley on my blog.

This original painting measures 5" x 5", and is made using gouache paint on acid free, cold press heavyweight watercolor paper. It is sold in a white mat that brings the overall size to 8x8”. I am able to assist with framing if desired, just message me to discuss. Shipping is free.
