There are some sweet little waterfalls at Crystal Cove State Park. Tucked into a cozy niche facing the Pacific, they are undoubtedly overlooked by some, but that’s exactly the type of magic I enjoy bringing to light. So when my friend suggested that I paint them, I decided to give it a go!

I titled this “Drains to Ocean” after the stenciled warnings you see decorating storm drains around here. I mean, it’s sort of the embodiment of that concept, after all!

This original miniature painting was created with gouache paint on black watercolor paper and measures 2x3". It is sold with a signed mat in a frame that brings the overall size of the piece to 4.75x3.75”. It ships free.
