The scene on this card, entitled “Fate” depicts a palm reader in the historic Los Rios District of San Juan Capistrano, California. The Los Rios District is the oldest neighborhood in the state of California. Many of its structures remain private residences, but some, like this fortune teller, operate as businesses. A stroll through this area is full of quirky little sights to discover, one of my favorite kinds of places to both experience and depict artistically.

Card measures 4.25x5.5" and is blank on the inside, ready for your own personal message. It has a short statement about the painting printed on the back. The card has been professionally printed on high-quality 80 lb. art paper with a subtle texture similar to cold-pressed watercolor paper. This paper is acid-free for greater longevity, but please take care to protect it from light, heat and humidity. Eggshell envelope is included and card will arrive packaged in a clear plastic sleeve.
