La Bailaora de Flamenco
La Bailaora de Flamenco
I met this saguaro while hunting for fire agates near Tonopah, Arizona. I’d never seen one with so many “arms” growing from its base, and the first thing that popped in my head was that she reminded me of a flamenco dancer. I decided to have a little fun with that idea in this piece, adding some ruffly flair and a flower in her “hair.” I hope she makes you say “olé”!
