This landscape painting is from a photo I snapped in Havasu National Wildlife Refuge outside of Lake Havasu, Arizona. The desert had ample winter rains in 2018-2019, and the 2019 spring wildflowers were blooming all over the place. I especially loved the layers of color and texture in this scene.
