Lambda XXII
Lambda XXII
It’s all about the light, movement, colors, and energy. I love the depth that working on black paper brings to my seascapes and it feels so magical to see each layer of paint bring the vibrance of the ocean to life. Seeing these paintings in person, my collectors often remark that the colors “pop.”
I named this series of mini wave panoramas “Lambda” because in science, wavelength is usually denoted by the Greek letter lambda (λ). This one is the 21st in this hugely popular series. I skipped the number 13 since I felt like no one wanted an “unlucky” wave. 😂 😉
This original panorama painting was created with gouache paint on 140 lb. Legion Stonehenge hot pressed black watercolor paper and measures 2×10". It comes in a signed mat and natural wood frame that brings the overall size of the piece to around 5×13”. It ships free.
Colors of original painting may be slightly different than what you see on your monitor screen. Artist signature, year of creation, and artwork title are included on back of painting. Copyrights remain with artist.
