Ramos Retreat

$375.00

The Los Rios district in San Juan Capistrano is a hidden gem, located around the corner and on the other side of the tracks from the famed Mission San Juan Capistrano. It’s a step back in time, a sweet example of an 18th-century California village. Forty adobe structures were built on the street in 1794 to house the Native Americans who labored at the mission. This scene shows the one of the first sights you’ll see after crossing those tracks. I love all the character found in this tiny building, and it was so much fun to paint it!

This painting was created with gouache paint on Legion Stonehenge Cold Press Black watercolor paper and measures 13.5×13.5". It is sold in a double-thick 8-ply white mat and a fun luminescent metallic apple green metal frame that brings the overall size of the piece to ”. It ships free.
