I visited my dear friend Ursula for some southern Arizona desert adventures, and we certainly made the most of my time there. One day was particularly epic from start to finish, despite chilly temperatures and uncooperative skies. We started with a visit to an exhibition that included my artwork in Tubac, grabbed lunch at a fantastic hole in the wall cantina in Arivaca, made our way through the borderlands to the ghost town of Ruby where we met the caretaker and explored a bit, played in mine tailings, and then witnessed an absolutely epic sunset as we headed east toward her home in Vail. That sky that had been uncooperative all day decided that it was time to show off!
