"Living in the Weird, Wild West" Single Blank Greeting Card
I titled the scene on this card “Living in the Weird, Wild West.” Before continuing my westward journey to SoCal, I lived in Phoenix, Arizona. The first morning I awoke in the Valley of the Sun, I walked outside to the sound of crowing roosters. I soon learned that a nearby area was inhabited by feral roosters, chickens, guinea fowl, and… wait for it… peacocks! Sometimes at night you could hear the peacocks’ loud and strange calls. Growing up “Back East” (as they refer to it), I envisioned horses, rattlesnakes, scorpions, and tarantulas living in the Wild West, but never once did my mind land upon the idea of a peacock. Exotic, indeed.
Card measures 4.25x5.5" and is blank on the inside, ready for your own personal message. It has the above information about the painting printed on the back. The card has been professionally printed on high-quality 80 lb. art paper with a subtle texture similar to cold-pressed watercolor paper.
