The Sherman Library in Corona del Mar is an oasis along the Pacific Coast Highway. Botanical, artistic, and literary delights await visitors who escape into its magic. One of my favorite spots at the garden is the area inhabited by “Shermie,” a cute little statue perched on the edge of a peaceful water feature. The displays surrounding Shermie rotate with the season, but he’s the ever-present supervisor.
